About The Fidelis Foundation

Thank you for visiting our site. Since its inception this foundation has offered HOPE, HEALING, and SANCTUARY to temporary orphans through equine-assisted programs. We are so pleased to be working very closely with organizations including 4Kids of South Florida and we've already served hundreds of children during a difficult season of their lives. We invite you to learn more about how we are helping children overcome emotional and psychological challenges and investing into their future. The Mission

Every day, children in Palm Beach and Broward counties are taken from their homes due to abandonment, neglect, or abuse. Many of these children are then moved to group shelters or foster care homes until a more permanent placement can be found. During this time of intense emotional turmoil, they need love, support, and a sense of safety and belonging. The Fidelis Foundation partners with local foster care agencies to provide equine programs to these temporary orphans. The activities with the horses and trainers teach children personal responsibility, trust, courage and leadership and provide a fun and safe environment where they can enjoy being a child. This positive emotional growth helps to promote healing and a healthy outlook for the future.
